How Cialis 60mg Works
It is a PDE 5 inhibitor. Commonly known as the ‘Weekend Pill’, it works by relaxing the smooth muscles present in the walls of the blood vessels. It enhances blood circulation throughout the body, including the penis. It contains the ingredient Tadalafil that stops the action of enzyme PDE 5 and does not let it destroy the molecule cGMP. The production of cGMP is necessary for the blood to flow properly. cGMP controls the dilation and contraction of blood vessels. As the action of PDE 5 is blocked by this medicine, more and more blood flows into the penis. This creates pressure in the penis that leads to an erection.
Uses Of Cialis 60 mg
It is used for the treatment of the following problems:
- Erectile Dysfunction (ED) – a condition that makes it difficult for a man to achieve or sustain an erection.
- Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) – high blood pressure of arteries present in the lungs and right side of the heart.
- Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) – age-related prostate gland enlargement that causes painful, difficult, and frequent urination.
Dosage
Cialis 60 mg is recommended to be taken by mouth and only once in 24 hours for the best effects. This medication works when all the other low dosages have been ineffective in the treatment. Known to cure routine symptoms of erectile dysfunction (ED), the drug also helps men get back on their sex lives after they have had Prostate Surgery. For best results, take the pill exactly one hour before sexual intercourse. This pill can be taken with or without food. The effects of this medicine last for a period of 36 hours.
Missed Dosage: This pill is taken as and when required. Therefore, there are fewer chances of missing a dose. However, if you take it for the treatment of Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH), you should take your missed dose as soon as possible. If it’s time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your scheduled dose. Do not overdose to make up for the missed dose. Talk to your doctor about what should be done when a dose is missed.
Overdose: An overdose can deteriorate your health and lead to serious side-effects. If problems persist for long, contact your doctor immediately.
