How It Works
Cialis 5 mg contains the ingredient Tadalafil that works by relaxing the smooth muscles present in the blood vessels of the body. It increases the flow of blood to certain areas of the body, including the penis. When you are sexually stimulated, nitric oxide is released into the penis. Nitric Oxide is responsible for the production of cGMP, which controls the dilation and contraction of blood vessels. An enzyme PDE 5 destroys cGMP and does not let the erection to occur. Tadalafil present in Cialis 5 mg stops PDE 5 from destroying cGMP. This helps the blood flow easily and an erection occurs. The effects of this medicine are known to last for 36 hours.
